 FTU Dark Romance Banner Set Tutorial

This tut is intended for those that have a working knowledge of PSP 

This tutorial was written in PSP X but can be done in any version.

My tutorials are only meant as a guide , if u wish to use a different tube or change the colors etc , then please feel free to do so.I love to see what all others can create with my stuff.

Supplies Needed:

Font of Choice ,I am using Black Klisse Free Font

U can get it Here... 

Tube of your choice - I am using the beautiful artwork of "Nocturne" Tube Vampy.

You need a license to use his/her work, please do not use his/her work without a proper license..

Drop Shadow (this is the drop shadow used throughout tutorial)

V = 1

H = 4

Opacity = 40

Blur = 10.00

Color = Black

Let's Get Started!!!

We will be making a Banner Set so you will need to make a Banner Tag and a

Profile Tag. We will start on the Profile Tag first..

New Canvas 800 x 800 Transparent

Add new raster layer , select all , copy & paste paper 6 into selection, deselect , apply mask (pull up mask choice in PSP, then click back on profile tag, go to layers ,New Mask Layer, click on from image and click on mask, merge group.

Copy & paste EL 11 , place ,DS, duplicate, mirror, flip, merge layer down.

Copy & paste EL Frame 3 ,move up a little, rotate 20 to left, with magic wand ,click inside frame, selections, modify, expand by 3,now add new layer and move below frame layer, copy & paste paper 3 into selection ,  frame layer and add DS.

Click on Top Layer 

Copy & paste EL 17 ,resize, place ,DS

Copy & paste EL 23 , place under the frame layer, DS

Copy & paste EL 12 ,resize, place ,DS

Copy & paste EL 24 ,resize, place ,DS

Copy & paste EL 06,resize, place ,DS

Copy & paste EL 21,resize, place ,DS

Copy & paste EL 04 ,resize, place ,DS

Copy & paste EL 13 ,resize, place ,DS

Copy & paste EL 05 ,resize, place ,DS

New Raster Layer , move to bottom, select all, copy & paste paper 4 into selection, deselect .

Now go to Banner Canvas

New Canvas 620 x 230 Transparent

Select all and Copy & paste paper 4 into selection and deselect.

Now go to Profile Tag so we can copy & paste onto the Banner Tag.

Copy & Paste Mask layer as a new layer, resize 75%,place,then copy & paste Raster 1 and Raster 2 , resize 75% and place .

Now X out of tube layer , background layer, mask layer Raster 1 & 2 and then copy merged the rest and paste onto Banner Canvas and place to liking, then copy & paste tube layer, place to liking, add copyright on Banner layer, now for the frame layer, go to top layer add new raster layer ,selections, modify ,contract by 10,invert and copy & paste paper 6 into selection, keep selected and go outer bevel to the following settings,

now add Glow with the following settings.

You can either put whatever you want for word art or use mine. Just right click and save as png.

Now back to Profile Tag 

now for the frame layer, go to top layer

add new raster layer ,selections, modify ,contract by 20,invert and copy * paste paper 6 into selection, keep selected and go outer bevel & glow same settings as above,.

You can either put whatever you want for word art or use mine. As above

Resize all layers 75% or to 600 x 600. Add copyright and merge visible ,

and save as a PNG.I always resize mine before adding 

copyright to keep it from being blury.

Please remember to add all proper © copyright info on both tags.

Add ur name...Set background to color ,gradient or pattern of choice ,

type name ,add DS and add glow...

Save as PNG file...

Eye Candy 3 - Gradient Glow using this setting

Alien Skin Xenofex 2 - Constellation with the following settings

Change To Target  #6f80d5 ***NOTE ***(Use this throughout tutorial)

(You can either do this step on every element or wait til the end and X out of Tube and frame layer and merge visible and then colorize in 1 shot)

Let's Get Started!!!

New Layer, select all, Copy & Paste GoF_Design_Tina_Blue_Fantasy Paper(2)into

selection, deselect. 

Copy & Paste GoF_Design_Tina_Blue_Fantasy (16) resize 150%

Copy & Paste GoF_Design_Tina_Blue_Fantasy (18) place on top right, duplicate

mirror, flip ,merge layer down.

Copy & Paste GoF_Design_Tina_Blue_Fantasy (6) with magic wand click inside frame, selections, modify, expand by 2, add new layer move below frame and copy & paste GoF_Design_Tina_Blue_Fantasy__Paper (6) into selection, Keep selected and Copy & paste close up of tube, resize to liking place, change blend mode to Screen and lower Opacity to 60 add DS. Deselect. DS Frame.

You can colorize the paper layer now or later.

Copy & Paste GoF_Design_Tina_Blue_Fantasy (17)place, DS, Duplicate , mirror, merge layer down.

Copy & Paste your tube, resize, place and add DS.

Copy & Paste GoF_Design_Tina_Blue_Fantasy (25),resize to your liking, place ,DS.

Copy & Paste GoF_Design_Tina_Blue_Fantasy (4),resize to your liking, place, DS ,Duplicate ,move to the right side.

Copy & Paste GoF_Design_Tina_Blue_Fantasy (30)resize 40%,place,DS

Copy & Paste GoF_Design_Tina_Blue_Fantasy (35)resize 40%,place,DS

Copy & Paste GoF_Design_Tina_Blue_Fantasy (58)resize 30%,place,DS, Duplicate, resize 85%, move slightly down and to the right.

Copy & Paste GoF_Design_Tina_Blue_Fantasy (23)resize 20%,place,DS, Duplicate, resize 75% ,place to liking or use my tag as reference , duplicate again place to liking, you can duplicate as many times as you like and place to your liking.

Now go to Banner Canvas

New Canvas 620 x 230 Transparent

New Layer, select all, Copy & Paste GoF_Design_Tina_Blue_Fantasy Paper(2)into

selection, deselect. 

Copy & Paste Raster Layer 2, resize 75%, place to liking.

Copy & Paste Raster Layer 3, resize 75%, place to liking.

Now go to Profile Tag so we can copy & paste onto the Banner Tag.

X out of tube layer and background layer, Raster Layer 2 & 3 then copy merged the rest and paste onto Banner Canvas and place to liking, then copy & paste tube layer, resize 75% place to liking, add copyright on Banner layer, now for the frame layer, go to top layer

add new raster layer ,selections, Modify ,contract by 10,invert and copy & paste GoF_Design_Tina_Blue_Fantasy__Paper (6)into selection, keep selected and go outer bevel to the following settings,

now add Glow with the following settings.

You can either put whatever you want for word art or use mine.

Add copyright and merge visible and save as a PNG.

Now back to Profile Tag 

now for the frame layer, go to top layer

add new raster layer ,selections, modify ,contract by 20,invert and copy & paste GoF_Design_Tina_Blue_Fantasy__Paper (6)into selection, keep selected and go outer bevel to the same settings as above.

Add same word art as profile tag.

Resize all layers 75% or to 600 x 600. Add copyright and merge visible ,

and save as a PNG. I always resize mine before adding 

copyright to keep it from being blurry.

Please remember to add all proper © copyright info on both tags.

Add your name...Set background to color ,gradient or pattern of choice ,

type name ,add DS and add glow...

Save as PNG file...
