FTU Love Never Fails Banner Set Tutorial

This tut is intended for those that have a working knowledge of PSP 

This tutorial was written in PSP X but can be done in any version.

My tutorials are only meant as a guide , if u wish to use a different 

tube or change the colors etc , then please feel free to do so.I love to see what all others can create with my stuff.

Supplies Needed:

PSP

Font of Choice I used Fiolex Girls

You can get it Here!

Tube of your choice - I am using the beautiful artwork of "Nocturne"

You need a license to use his/her work, please do not use his/her work without a proper license..

Mask "Mask_0056" by Vivienne's Paintbox

Drop Shadow (this is the drop shadow used throughout tutorial)

V = 1

H = 1

Opacity = 50

Blur = 1.00

Color = Black

Let's Get Started!!!

Profile New canvas 800 x 800 (We'll resize to 600 x 600 at end)

Banner New canvas 760 x 270  

We are working on the profile tag first.. 

New Canvas 800 x 800

Copy & paste El 30,resize 120%,with magic wand click inside to select,modify > expand by 5,new raster layer,move layer below the frame layer,copy & paste paper 3 into selection..Keep selected.

Copy & paste your tube,place,selections >invert,delete.Deselect.

Copy & paste the following resizing,sharpen and drop shadow.

El 24,70%,move down to bottom,with eraser tool,erase bottom of stem and the other branch sticking out.Duplicate,mirror.Merge layer down.

El 41,30%,duplicate,mirror,merge layer down.

El 8,30%,duplicate,mirror,merge layer down.

El 14,30%,rotate 15 left.

El 3,30%,place,duplicate,mirror,repeat this for as many times as you want butterflies.

El 1,30%

add any other elements that u wish.

Now for the background and mask layer,New Raster Layer,select all ,copy & paste paper 10 into selection,keep selected,new raster layer, now copy & paste paper 9 into selection,Deselect.

Now to apply mask on top paper layer,go to Image > New Mask Layer,From Image,choose your mask,click ok,then on layers palette,merge group.

Resize 130%,duplicate,mirror,merge layer down,duplicate,mirror,flip,merge layer down.

Now on Banner Canvas do the same as above for the background and mask layers.

Now go back to Profile Canvas and turn visibility off on both bottom layers,then back to the Banner Canvas and paste as new layer,place to liking,merge visible.

Copy & paste wordart 6 as a new layer,resize 30%,place.Place on both tags.

resize to 600 x 600 or to liking...I always resize mine before adding 

copyright to keep it from being blury.

Add ur name...

Save as PNG file...

Copy & paste El 50,resize 80%,with magic wand click inside to select,modify >expand by 5,new raster layer,move layer below the frame layer,copy & paste paper 8 into selection..Keep selected.

Copy & paste close up of your tube,resize to your liking and place, selections > invert, delete.Deselect.

Copy & paste tube,resize 75% to 80%, place,sharpen and drop shadow.

Copy & paste the following resizing,sharpen and drop shadow.

El 18,60%

El 4,35% ,duplicate,mirror,merge layer down.

El 17,35%,duplicate,mirror,merge layer down.

El 16,35%,duplicate,mirror,merge layer down.

El 7,35%,duplicate,mirror,merge layer down.

El 8,35%,duplicate,mirror,merge layer down.

El 42,40%

El 39,40%

El 30,40%

El 54,40%,mirror

El 32,25%,duplicate,mirror

add any other elements that u wish.

Now for the background and mask layer,New Raster Layer,select all ,copy & paste paper 6 into selection,keep selected,new raster layer, now copy & paste paper 3 into selection, deselect.

Now to apply mask on top paper layer,go to Image > New Mask Layer,From Image,choose your mask,click ok,then on layers palette,merge group.

Duplicate,mirror,merge layer down. Duplicate and flip,merge layer down.

Now on Banner Canvas do the same as above for the background and mask layers.

Now go back to Profile Canvas and turn visibility off on both bottom layers,then back to the Banner Canvas and paste as new layer,place to liking,merge visible.

resize to 600 x 600 or to liking...I always resize mine before adding 

copyright to keep it from being blury.

Let's Get Started!!!

Profile New canvas 800 x 800 (We'll resize to 600 x 600 at end)

Banner New canvas 760 x 270  

We are working on the profile tag first.. 

New Canvas 800 x 800

Copy & paste Frame 2,move down and left a little,then copy & paste Frame 1,place this one up a little on right next to frame 2,with magic wand click inside to select,modify >expand by 5,new raster layer,move layer below the frame layer,copy & paste paper 6 into selection.Keep selected.

Copy & paste close up of your tube,resize to your liking and place, selections >invert,delete,set blend to overlay.

Deselect.

Now repeat above steps for Frame 1. When you get to the tube layer,mirror tube before copying it..

Sharpen and add drop shadow to both frames..

Copy & paste tube,resize 75% ,mirror,place and drop shadow.

Copy & paste the following resizing,sharpen and drop shadow.

El 32,60%

El 28,duplicate,mirror,flip.merge layer down.

El 19,40%,duplicate,mirror,move to liking,layer down.

El 22,25%,duplicate,mirror,move to liking,layer down.

El 7,40%,duplicate,mirror,move to liking,layer down.

El 26,40% 

El 5,5%

El 12,40%

El 46,30%

El 49,40%

El 18,30% ,duplicate,mirror

El 52,80%,duplicate,mirror,flip,merge layer down,duplicate and mirror.

El 16,50% ,now with background set to #adc8ce,font of choice (I used Springtime Sunshine)type Topaz with size set to 36,turn to liking.

El 37,25%

add any other elements that u wish.

Now for the background and mask layer,New Raster Layer,select all ,copy & paste paper 5 into selection,keep selected,new raster layer, now copy & paste paper 4 into selection, deselect.

Now to apply mask on top paper layer,go to Image > New Mask Layer,From Image,choose your mask,click ok,then on layers palette,merge group.

Now on Banner Canvas do the same as above for the background and mask layers.

Now go back to Profile Canvas and turn visibility off on both bottom layers,then back to the Banner Canvas and paste as new layer,place to liking,merge visible.

resize to 600 x 600 or to liking...I always resize mine before adding

Copy & paste tube,resize 80%,place,sharpen and drop shadow...

Copy & paste the following resizing,sharpen and drop shadow.

El 30,80%

El 28, 45%

El 15,70%

El 20,45% take select tool (freehand) and select around right bird and delete it..

El 12,30%

add any other elements that u wish.

Now for the background and mask layer,New Raster Layer,select all ,copy & paste paper 2 into selection,keep selected,new raster layer, now copy & paste paper 4 into selection, deselect.

Now to apply mask on top paper layer,go to Image > New Mask Layer,From Image,choose your mask,click ok,then on layers palette,merge group.

Now on Banner Canvas do the same as above for the background and mask layers.

Now go back to Profile Canvas and turn visibility off on both bottom layers,then back to the Banner Canvas and paste as new layer,place to liking,merge visible.
