FTU It's A Guy Thing Banner Set Tutorial

This tut is intended for those that have a working knowledge of PSP 

This tutorial was written in PSP X but can be done in any version.

My tutorials are only meant as a guide , if u wish to use a different 

tube or change the colors etc , then please feel free to do so.I love to see what all others can create with my stuff.

Supplies Needed:

PSP

Font of Choice 

Tube of your choice - I am using the beautiful artwork of "Verymany"

You need a license to use his/her work, please do not use his/her work without a proper license..

Wordart Happy Father's Day by me, just right click and save as a PNG file..

Drop Shadow (this is the drop shadow used throughout tutorial)

V = 1

H = 1

Opacity = 50

Blur = 1.00

Color = Black

Let's Get Started!!!

Profile New canvas 800 x 800 (We'll resize to 600 x 600 at end)

Banner New canvas 760 x 270  

We are working on the profile tag first.. 

New Canvas 800 x 800

Copy & paste 27 as a new layer, resize 30%, adjust .sharpen, now with magic wand click inside frame to select, modify > expand by 5, new raster layer,move layer below the frame layer, copy & paste paper 3 into selection..Keep selected.

Now if you are using the same tube as me,copy & paste Close up of your tube,place,selections,invert and delete.. now go to blend and set to overlay. sharpen tube and add drop shadow. Deselect.

Now copy & paste the tube,resize 60%,place,sharpen and drop shadow.

I used a couple of other tubes by same artist, the kitten & dog, I resized them each 30% and sharpened and added drop shadow..

Copy & paste 28,resize 20%, place,sharpen and drop shadow.

Copy & paste 32,resize 15%, place,sharpen and drop shadow.

Copy & paste 20,resize 15 %, place,sharpen and drop shadow.

Copy & paste 23,resize 15%, place,sharpen and drop shadow.

Copy & paste 24,resize 15%, place,sharpen and drop shadow.

Copy & paste 26,resize 15%, place,sharpen and drop shadow.

Copy & paste 13,resize 20%, then 70%, place,sharpen and drop shadow.

Copy & paste 12,resize 15%, place,sharpen and drop shadow.

Copy & paste 30,resize 15%, place,sharpen and drop shadow.

Copy & paste 29 as a new layer , resize 40%, adjust ,sharpen..move this layer to the bottom.

Now add new raster layer, move to bottom.

Select all, copy & paste paper 8 into selection, DO NOT close out paper yet because you will need it for the banner canvas..

Make a new raster layer again and move this layer to bottom and copy & paste paper 1 into selection. Deselect.. DO NOT close out paper yet because you will need it for the banner canvas..

ok now on top paper layer, go to New Mask Layer,from image and select your mask, click ok , then go merge group, I resized mine 130 , twice...

Now go to your banner canvas and repeat last 2 steps .

Now go back to your first canvas and close out visibility on both bottom paper layers, now highlight any other layer and copy merged and then onto to the banner canvas and paste ,place to liking.

Copy & paste my wordart, resize if needed and place.. 

add any other elements that u wish .

resize to 600 x 600 or to liking...I always resize mine before adding 

copyright to keep it from being blury.

Please remember to add all proper © copyright information to both canvases.

Add ur name...

Now you can add frame to your liking, You can do Eye Candy Inner Bevel or Foto Frame by AAA Frames.. 

Or you can select all,add new layer , modify >Contract by 10, invert and then fill in with a color and deselect. 

Save as PNG file...
