FTU Happy Birthday Banner Set Tutorial

This tut is intended for those that have a working knowledge of PSP 

This tutorial was written in PSP X but can be done in any version.

My tutorials are only meant as a guide , if u wish to use a different 

tube or change the colors etc , then please feel free to do so.I love to see what all others can create with my stuff.

Supplies Needed:

PSP

Font of Choice I used A & S Porkchop

Tube of your choice - I am using the beautiful artwork of "Elias Chatzoudis"

You need a license to use his/her work, please do not use his/her work without a proper license..

Drop Shadow (this is the drop shadow used throughout tutorial)

V = 1

H = 1

Opacity = 50

Blur = 1.00

Color = Black

Let's Get Started!!!

Profile New canvas 800 x 800 (We'll resize to 600 x 600 at end)

Banner New canvas 760 x 270  

We are working on the profile tag first.. 

New Canvas 800 x 800

Copy & paste 21,resize 120,with magic wand click inside to select,modify >expand by 5,new raster layer,move layer below the frame layer,copy & paste paper 7 into selection..Keep selected.

Copy & paste close up,place,selections > invert, delete. deselect,

Copy & paste Tube,I resize to 120%,place,sharpen and drop shadow.

Now for the following Copy & paste,resize,place,sharpen and drop shadow.

Element 16,60%

Element 15,50%

Element 8,50%

Element 12 

Element 1,50%

Element 16,60%

Element 29,50%

Element 14

Element 12

Element 20

Element 30

add any other elements that u wish.

Now for the background and mask layers;

New Raster Layer select all ,copy & paste paper 5 into selection,keep selected,new raster layer, now copy & paste paper 6 into selection, deselect.

Now to apply mask on top paper layer,go to Image > New Mask Layer,From Image,choose your mask,click ok,then on layers palette,merge group.

Now on Banner Canvas 

Add New Raster Layer select all ,copy & paste paper 5 into selection,keep selected,new raster layer, now copy & paste paper 6 into selection, deselect.

Now to apply mask on top paper layer,go to Image > New Mask Layer,From Image,choose your mask,click ok,then on layers palette,merge group.

Now back to Profile Canvas,turn visibility off on both paper layers,highlight any other layer,copy merged,then go back to Banner Canvas and paste as new layer,place to liking. Merge all 

Now back to Profile Canvas resize to 600 x 600 or to liking...I always resize mine before adding copyright to keep it from being blury.

Please remember to add all proper © copyright information to both tags.

Add ur name...

Save as PNG file...
