FTU Cherry Blossoms Banner  Set Tutorial

This tut is intended for those that have a working knowledge of PSP 

This tutorial was written in PSP X but can be done in any version.

My tutorials are only meant as a guide , if u wish to use a different 

tube or change the colors etc , then please feel free to do so.I love to see what all others can create with my stuff.

Supplies Needed:

PSP

Font of Choice I am using Countryside Two

Tube of your choice - I am using the beautiful artwork of "Alex Prihodko"

You need a license to use his/her work, please do not use his/her work without a proper license..

Just right click and save as PNG file.

Drop Shadow (this is the drop shadow used throughout tutorial)

V = 1

H = 1

Opacity = 50

Blur = 1.00

Color = Black

Let's Get Started!!!

Profile New canvas 800 x 800 

Banner New canvas 760 x 270 

We are working on the profile tag first.. 

New Canvas 800 x 800

Select all ,copy & paste paper 6 into selection,keep selected,new raster layer, now copy & paste paper 7 into selection, deselect.

Now to apply mask on top paper layer,go to Image > New Mask Layer,From Image,choose your mask,click ok,then on layers palette,merge group.   

Resize mask 130%, then move up to top a little,duplicate,mirror,flip,merge down.

Copy & paste 28,resize 50% or to your liking,place,duplicate,mirror, flip merge layer down.

Copy & paste Frame 8,resize 50%,with magic wand click inside to 

select,modify > expand by 5,new raster layer,move layer below the frame layer, copy & paste paper 14 into selection.deselect

Copy & paste 36,resize 30%,place,sharpen and add drop shadow.

Copy & paste 108,resize 10% then 80%,place,sharpen and add drop shadow.

Copy & paste 109,resize 20%,place and add drop shadow.

Copy & paste 58,resize 10%,place,sharpen and add drop shadow,rotate 20 left.

Copy & paste 25,resize 40%,place,sharpen and add drop shadow.

Copy & paste 59,resize 10%,place,sharpen and add drop shadow, duplicate move up a little then merge layer down, duplicate , image >mirror..

Copy & paste 24,resize 10%,place,sharpen and add drop shadow.

Copy & paste 37,resize 10%,place,sharpen and add drop shadow, duplicate, mirror, move to the left on top of other one, merge down. Duplicate, mirror.

Copy & paste 09,resize 10%,place,sharpen and add drop shadow.

Copy & paste 10,resize 10%,place,sharpen and add drop shadow.

add any other elements that u wish .

resize to 650 x 600 or to liking...I always resize mine before adding 

copyright to keep it from being blury.

New Canvas 760 x 270

Select all ,copy & paste paper into selection,keep selected,new raster layer, now copy & paste paper into selection, deselect.

Now to apply mask on top paper layer,go to Image > New Mask Layer,From Image,choose your mask,click ok,then on layers palette,merge group.

Now back on other canvas,turn visibility off on both paper layers at bottom. then copy merged and paste as new layer onto Banner canvas,place, sharpen if needed .

Add wordart to both tags and resize to liking,..

Please remember to add all proper © copyright info on both tags..

Add ur name...

Save as PNG file...
