FTU Blooms Banner Tutorial Set

This tut is intended for those that have a working knowledge of PSP 

This tutorial was written in PSP X but can be done in any version.

My tutorials are only meant as a guide , if u wish to use a different tube or change the colors etc , then please feel free to do so.I love to see what all others can create with my stuff.

Supplies Needed:

PSP

Eye Candy Gradient Glow (I am using 3.1 version)

Font of Choice I used

Tube of your choice - I am using the beautiful artwork of "Alex Prihodko"

You need a license to use his/her work, please do not use his/her work without a proper license..

Drop Shadow (this is the drop shadow used throughout tutorial)

V = 1

H = 1

Opacity = 50

Blur = 1.00

Color = Black

Let's Get Started!!!

Profile New canvas 800 x 800 (We'll resize to 600 x 600 at end)

Banner New canvas 760 x 270  

We are working on the profile tag first.. 

New Canvas 800 x 800 

Copy & paste Frame 2,resize 60%,rotate 15 left ,with magic wand click inside to select,modify >expand by 5,new raster layer,move layer below the frame layer, copy & paste paper 14 into selection..Keep selected.

Copy & paste close up of tube, resize 60% to your liking and place, selections > invert,delete.Deselect. Lower opacity to 65.

Copy & paste Leaves 3,resize 60%,place,sharpen and add drop shadow.

Copy & paste Fan 5,resize 45%,place,sharpen and add drop shadow.

Copy & paste Watermelon 1,resize 45%,place,sharpen and add drop shadow.

Copy & paste Grapes,resize 45%,place,sharpen and add drop shadow.

Copy & paste Squirrel 1,resize 45%,place,sharpen and add drop shadow.

Copy & paste Mouse 1,resize 25%,place,sharpen and add drop shadow.

Copy & paste Owl,resize 45%,place,sharpen and add drop shadow.

Copy & paste Snail,resize 45%,place,sharpen and add drop shadow.

Copy & paste Butterfly 1 & 2,resize,sharpen and add drop shadow.

Duplicate both and place.Butterfly 2,rotate 15 Right.

With font & color of choice type out the following (I used Black),Bloom Where you are planted,place and add the following glow with Eye Candy 3.1

Now for the background and mask layer,New Raster Layer,select all ,copy & paste paper 18 into selection,keep selected,new raster layer, now copy & paste paper 11 into selection, deselect.

Now to apply mask on top paper layer,go to Image > New Mask Layer,From Image,choose your mask,click ok,then on layers palette,merge group.

Now on Banner Canvas do the same as above for the background and mask layers.

Now go back to Profile Canvas and turn visibility off on both bottom layers,then back to the Banner Canvas and paste as new layer,place to liking,merge visible.

add any other elements that u wish .

resize to 600 x 600 or to liking...I always resize mine before adding copyright to keep it from being blury.

Please remember to add all proper © copyright information on both tags.

Add ur name...

Save as PNG file...
