FTU Summer Swag Banner Set Tutorial

This tut is intended for those that have a working knowledge of PSP 

This tutorial was written in PSP X but can be done in any version.

My tutorials are only meant as a guide , if u wish to use a different tube or change the colors etc , then please feel free to do so.I love to see what all others can create with my stuff.

Supplies Needed:

PSP

Eye Candy Gradient Glow (I am using 3.1 version)

Font of Choice I used Breakfast on the beach Personal

Tube of your choice - I am using the beautiful artwork of "Verymany"

Ice Lolly

Drop Shadow (this is the drop shadow used throughout tutorial)

V = 1

H = 1

Opacity = 50

Blur = 1.00

Color = Black

Let's Get Started!!!

Profile New canvas 800 x 800 (We'll resize to 600 x 600 at end)

Banner New canvas 760 x 270  

We are working on the profile tag first.. 

New Canvas 800 x 800 

Copy & paste EL 39,resize 800%,select all ,float,defloat,Modify > contract 30 ,delete 3 times,modify >expand by 15,new raster layer,move layer below the frame layer, copy & paste paper 11 into selection.Duplicate 3 times.Keep selected.

Copy & paste close up of tube, resize to your liking and place, selections > invert, delete. deselect.Lower opacity to 40. Resize these 3 layers 80%.

Now go to Layer Link Toggle,change the following layers to 1,then move these layers over to the top left ,see my tag for placement.

Copy & paste EL 05,resize 80% twice and place,adjust, sharpen and add drop shadow, move this layer to bottom.

Copy & paste EL 03,mirror,place,add drop shadow.

Copy & paste EL 06,resize 80%,place,adjust,sharpen and add drop shadow, move this layer below the frame layers.

Copy & paste EL 07,80%,place,adjust,sharpen and add drop shadow.

Copy & paste EL 31,place,sharpen and add drop shadow.

Copy & paste EL 34,place,sharpen and add drop shadow.

Now for the background and mask layer,New Raster Layer,select all ,copy & paste paper 11 into selection,keep selected,new raster layer, now copy & paste paper 7 into selection, deselect.Move these layers to the bottom.

Now to apply mask on top paper layer,go to Image > New Mask Layer,From Image,choose your mask,click ok,then on layers palette,merge group.

Now on Banner Canvas do the same as above for the background and mask layers.

Now go back to Profile Canvas and turn visibility off on both bottom layers,then back to the Banner Canvas and paste as new layer,place to liking,merge visible.

add any other elements that u wish .

Now for the Wordart,shift D to make duplicate wordart,with eraser tool carefully erase credits and then copy & paste wordart,resize to liking, place ,I added a gradient glow using Eye Candy 3.1, with the following settings.

resize to 600 x 600 or to liking...I always resize mine before adding copyright to keep it from being blury.

Please remember to add all proper © copyright information on both tags.

Now for frame,select all,Modify>Contract 10,invert,add new raster layer,now set your foreground to #23d5e3 and your background to #11aeba,set to gradient and go to foreground /background,with the following settings.

Fill and then add a inner bevel to your liking,I added gradient glow and then added small drop shadow. Deselect.

Add ur name... I used the same gradient as frame.

Save as PNG file...
