FTU Aurora Banner Set

This tut is intended for those that have a working knowledge of PSP 

This tutorial was written in PSP X but can be done in any version.

My tutorials are only meant as a guide , if u wish to use a different tube or change the colors etc , then please feel free to do so.I love to see what all others can create with my stuff.

Supplies Needed:

PSP

Eye Candy Gradient Glow (I am using 3.1 version)

Font of Choice I used Xiomara

Tube of your choice - I am using the beautiful artwork of "Verymany"

You need a license to use his/her work, please do not use his/her work without a proper license..

Drop Shadow (this is the drop shadow used throughout tutorial)

V = 1

H = 1

Opacity = 50

Blur = 1.00

Color = Black

Let's Get Started!!!

Profile New canvas 800 x 800 (We'll resize to 600 x 600 at end)

Banner New canvas 760 x 270  

We are working on the profile tag first.. 

New Canvas 800 x 800 

Copy & paste Frame 2,resize 150%,with selection tool set to elipse,carefully start in middle and go outward until you have it all selected,modify >expand by 10,this might take a little practice but don't worry you can move paper afterwards and erase any parts that you need to, new raster layer,move layer below the frame layer, copy & paste paper 7 into selection..Keep selected.

Copy & paste close up of tube, resize  to your liking and place, selections > invert, delete.Deselect. 

Copy & paste Tube,resize 70% or to your liking,place,sharpen and add drop shadow.

Copy & paste Butterfly 1 & 2,resize 60%,place,sharpen and add drop shadow.

Copy & paste Umbrella,place and then with eraser tool carefully erase handle of Umbrella,sharpen and add drop shadow.

Copy & paste Leaves,resize 60%,place under Roses on left side,top leaf,with eraser tool carefully erase part of stem, duplicate,flip,merge layer down,Duplicate,mirror and merge layer down.

Copy & paste Locket,resize 60%,place,sharpen and add drop shadow.

Copy & paste Paperclip,resize 60%,place,sharpen and add drop shadow.

Copy & paste Tag,resize 80%,place on right,move this layer below the roses layers.

Now for the background and mask layer,New Raster Layer,select all ,copy & paste paper 8 into selection,keep selected,new raster layer, now copy & paste paper 7 into selection, deselect.

Now to apply mask on top paper layer,go to Image > New Mask Layer,From Image,choose your mask,click ok,then on layers palette,merge group.

Now on Banner Canvas do the same as above for the background and mask layers.

Now go back to Profile Canvas and turn visibility off on both bottom layers,then back to the Banner Canvas and paste as new layer,place to liking,merge visible.

add any other elements that u wish .

resize to 600 x 600 or to liking...I always resize mine before adding copyright to keep it from being blury.

Please remember to add all proper © copyright information on both tags.

Add ur name...

Set background to

Save as PNG file...
